Jalapeno
When someone says "hot peppers", Jalapenos are one of the first varieties that come to mind. In bars across the great U S of A, it's a staple on menus fried and stuffed with cheese. The heat level of other peppers are often expressed as a multiple of the Jalapeno's. The popular website Pepperscale.com provides a "Jalapeno Reference Point" for all hot peppers. Ghost peppers, for example, Ghost Peppers have a Jalapeno Reference point of "107 to 417 times hotter"!
The real question is are you team "Red" or team "Green" and team "Cream Cheese" or team "Cheddar"?
